Therapy & Counseling

Therapy should be more than polite conversation. It should be a place where real insight and meaningful change happen. Daniel works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who want to understand themselves more clearly and move forward with intention: thoughtful, capable people navigating evolving identity, shifting relationships, questions of meaning, or the quiet sense that something needs to change. He has particular experience with identity development, LGBTQ+ themes, sobriety and recovery, religious trauma, and the deeper questions of purpose and direction. His approach is psychodynamic at its foundation, person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in contemporary psychological theory, with a small, carefully managed caseload so each client gets attentive care.

Consulting & Coaching

Some questions call for something slightly different from therapy: a structured space for reflection, strategy, and forward movement. Daniel consults and coaches in two directions: with individuals at an important decision point, a career shift, a leadership question, a geographic move, or aligning ambition with meaning; and with organizations and healthcare leaders on program development, team culture, and the human side of change. He also coaches parents working to reach a struggling or reactive teenager. Because this work often happens outside the therapy setting, including across state or professional lines, it is structured clearly as consulting: confidential, direct, and results-oriented.

Chaplaincy & End-of-Life Support

Few moments in life ask more of us than loss. Through his work in chaplaincy and end-of-life care, Daniel supports individuals and families navigating grief, remembrance, and the meaning that often emerges around death. His background lets him move comfortably between traditions, religious, spiritual, secular, or somewhere in between, and meet people wherever they are. He is available to speak at funerals and memorial services, assist with wakes and gatherings, and offer steady support to families through grief and transition.

Daniel's presentations draw on psychology, identity development, motivation, and leadership, blending research, lived experience, and storytelling, in keynote, workshop, and lecture formats. Over the years he has spoken with universities, parent organizations, professional groups, faith communities, and conference audiences. See the talks
